AI-integrated material

   Today our task is to design an artificial intelligence (AI)- integrated teaching material preparation. As you know, AI has entered every aspect of our lives. We see both positive and negative effects in every field, from health to mathematics, from art to sports. What interests us is how it is used in education and language field. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’น We use both various applications and activities in our lessons. They say that artificial intelligence will replace many professions, including teaching. However, those who believe that teaching is just entering and leaving classes support this idea. Because as it is known, teaching is a sacred profession and nothing can replace it. Beyond giving lessons, teachers see and value the hearts and inner beauty of their students. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฆ 




   Let's come to our task. As I said, this is AI-based task, but this time we make students use it. This task is for ELF high school preparation students, and we focused on students' writing skills. With the help of AI use, they will improve and correct both their writing and artificial intelligence use skills. We included pre-task, main-task, and post-task activities. ⚡๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ“ฐ

   ✒In the pre-task we wanted our students to research the use of ChatGPT. (If you don't know, ChatGPT is an online AI generative tool that allows people to prompt their knowledge according to their desires.) They will search and discuss its' usage with friends and try to improve their skills about the use of artificial intelligence. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ”ฎ

   For the main task, according to their English book, their duty is writing a dialog with their pairs and check it with ChatGPT. After receiving feedback from Chatgpt, they will discuss it with their friends and rewrite the dialogue. 


                                   

   Lastly, for the post-task, they will talk with a historical figure thanks to the Magic School application. It is an innovative teaching tool that uses artificial intelligence to provide educational experiences both for teachers and students. There are features such as preparing lesson plans, getting feedback on your homework, creating group studies, suggesting applications, and more. You should definitely visit the site and see what features it has. Welcome my dear reader last time for this semester. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ซThis blog post will be about what we learned and what projects we have done together so far.  ☑    First of all, Current Issues in Teaching lesson taught me a lot.
