Interview with Historical Figure


Hello my dear reader, welcome again and last time for this semester. ๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŒธ

   This duty is our last homework for the Instructional technologies and material design lesson. Our homework’s topic is a Magic School Character Chatbot and Writing Feedback Tool to better integrate AI tools into our lesson. She wanted from us to choose one historical figure, character or author and ask him/her at least ten questions about his/her life, works. ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ’‚๐Ÿ‘ฎ After that we uploaded our report about dialog and gave feedback from the Feedback Tool. I wanted to have a dialogue with Ataturk, a leader who improved our lives and our country in a very good direction.   Before starting this course, I knew that English would be a more useful lesson by combining it with technology but I hadn’t imagined that much. I was both surprised and delighted to see that there were more and more of the technological tools I knew and the unlimited choice. Before this course, I didn't have a good idea about how I could incorporate technology into the lessons. However, now I know what and how to use technology in classroom or extra-curricular activities for every age and level. Thanks to the various practices and methods I learned in the classroom, I'm now more aware of technology. I'd really like this technology integrated course to be from 1st grade to the end of 4th grade.

   Even though I had tough tasks, I felt that I was really improving and learning in this class. Also, because technology is constantly evolving, I believe that we need to keep up with it, so that we can keep pace with the new generations of our students. Additionally, in technology-infused courses, we take students out of their usual teaching/learning patterns. Moreover, since technology attracts more attention of students, it seems that they also actively participate. Thus, learning English becomes a part of their lives rather than just a lesson thanks to technology. ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ’ป๐ŸŽ‰

   When it comes to evaluating the entire semester, each assignment made a different contribution to me. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ“ƒI uncovered a different creative work in each one and learned new things. These tasks have helped me a lot in managing group or peer work, not just for my own development. Before doing these tasks, I did not think that I would have this much fun and be useful, but this thought definitely changed because I felt that I improved myself both in technology and education. It can be said that the most difficult thing to do is to create a podcast. As I said before, in order for people to perceive my voice well, both the environment and my speech had to be correct. It was quite difficult to achieve these two things together properly. However, the most fun thing was the infographic assignment. You can create diagrams and templates to inform people and give tips on a particular subject. When creating them, you can choose shapes, colors, and font types appropriate to the age and level of the learners. In this way, you can both learn the basic features of the subject and have fun while making infographics. To summarize briefly, this course taught me a lot.
